I love you. We often hear this sentence used to express happiness or a liking of one another or objects. We carelessly throw the word LOVE around, not really understanding the meaning of it. We often forget what the real feeling of love brings. Not just happiness, but over whelming joy. In the Bible it says in John 15:13 "There is no greater love than to give ones life for a friend." I don't know about you, but I think its annoying when people say I love this, I love that. Think about it. The word love has lost its special meaning. I don't think you would die for a pair of shoes, I mean come on. Oh and that doesn't latterly mean show your love bye committing suicide.
Thank you for reading. :) love you.........................................................NOT. Share your opinions please.
I think people use it to often and in a way it has lost some of it's meaning. It's used to flippantly, like it's just something to say. Not an actual feeling anymore.
ReplyDeleteThat being said my biggest issue with the word is when people say "love ya" instead of "I love you". Putting the "I" in makes the person actually believe you have love for them. It's kinda like saying "thanks" instead of "thank you" it just makes someone believe it a little more. It make it a real feeling.
thank you for your comment, and i agree, i don't like telling people carelessly that i love them, but sometimes i feel awkward not responding back i with love you too.
